Greeting cards and movies lead you to believe summer is a time to stay home lounging on the porch swing while sipping fresh lemonade. Not true at all! Missouri's farmers' markets offer a wide variety of products, grown in your backyard, and there is something for every taste bud. Find a farmers' market near you using the farmers' market map. In addition to fresh fruits and vegetables, farmers' markets offer meat, honey and processed products like jam and jelly.
When planning summer travel don't forget to visit Missouri's u-pick blueberry, raspberry and blackberry farms. It's hard to beat picking (and eating) fresh, juicy, ripe berries straight off the vine. AgriMissouri has been using the blog, AgriMissouri Showcase, to interact with consumers on a more conversational level.
What we've found is many members don't know about the AgriMissouri podcasts and videos that are also on the blog site.
A podcast is an audio interview with members about their products or upcoming events. It allows you, the consumer, to hear from our members and get to know them directly.

This can include agricultural experiences or agritourism businesses, fresh agricultural products or processed products derived from agricultural products.
