The signs of fall are coming quickly. The summer weather has been unusually cool, making many of us think of fall early. Soon the leaves will be changing color and Missouri's pumpkin farms, apple orchards, corn mazes and wineries will be in full swing.

As fall arrives, many begin to think about the holiday season. Holidays are a wonderful time of year, filled with warm and familiar sights, sounds and smells. When planning holiday meals, tantalizing AgriMissouri products can make great ingredients in any recipe.
Missouri offers everything from cheese balls and dips for appetizers to main entrees including free-range turkey and other meat products to black walnuts and pecans for use in baking those favorite desserts.
AgriMissouri products also make unique holiday gifts for everyone. It is hard to go wrong with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, berry syrup or jam and jelly made from Missouri products. Many AgriMissouri members package their products in gift boxes so gift-giving is incredibly simple.

Agritourism Survey |
Agritourism is a growing sector of Missouri’s agricultural industry. AgriMissouri, a program within the Missouri Department of Agriculture, partnered with the University of Missouri’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism program to conduct a survey of agritourism operators to determine the impact agritourism has on their farms as well as communities.
The study showed that over 1.2 million people visit agritourism destinations each year. Sixty-four percent of respondents indicated adding an agritourism destination to their farm increased their farm revenues significantly and 66% plan to continue increasing their agritourism offerings on their farm. What we've found is many members don't know about the AgriMissouri podcasts and videos that are also on the blog site.
A podcast is an audio interview with members about their products or upcoming events. It allows you, the consumer, to hear from our members and get to know them directly.

AgriMissouri™ offers multiple membership categories for producers in Missouri. Our objective is to promote products grown, raised or processed in Missouri. This can include agricultural experiences or agritourism businesses, fresh agricultural products or processed products derived from agricultural products.
